Consistently great food and service. Tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all SO good. My favorites are the spicy neighborhood bird, tofu brah, shrimp snacks, the bun, and the ramen broccoli is to die for! pretty much the whole menu. We always have leftovers and that makes me so happy.
What we tried: neighborhood bird bowl, spicy walnut shrimp bowl, tempura broccoli, ramen broccoli. I've wanted to try this place for YEARS legit before I even was even old enough to drive. I dont know why it took me so many years to actually go try it, but I FINALLYYY did. I don't remember the name of the gentleman that helped with my order, but he was great. He recommended the ramen broccoli, and we ended up getting both. I thought they were both very good!! eat them right away!! I did like the ramen broccoli more. I was feeling a rice dish that night, so I got the neighborhood bird bowl. Portions are HUGE I think it took me 2 leftover meals to finish most of it. Photos make the bun look sooo good though, so I got that on the side. Exactly what I thought it would be. delicious. i love car
I have been wanting to try Ekiben for so long, and I finally got the chance to this weekend. The young lady at the register was patient with me as I looked over the menu, and was nice with making notes for the kitchen about my allergy. The food was what I expected and then some, I have never had such delicious shrimp before, and with the size it was definitely worth the price in my opinion. The neighborhood bird bowl was amazing too, I had enough for lunch and dinner the next day. The pickled veggies were refreshing, the chicken juicy and crispy, and the sauce on top is amazing. I cannot wait to come back (please open a location in the washington dc area!)
Yummy yummy! We came here for our 1st time due to their support of federal employees during the government shutdown! A big thank you for supporting us when we were down & needed help! So glad we tried it because it was soooo good! Plus the employees were so friendly & cheerful! We will definitely be back! We each got Neighborhood Bird Bowl plus the Tempura Broccoli! Yum!
First time visiting this establishment and I was very impressed. Minor issues with my order being overlooked but the young man at the register made sure I was taken care of and showed great customer service skills. Ordered the fried chicken bao bun, fried chicken rice bowl and was given the strawberry matcha and red apple sparkling water. All amazing!
