Einstein Bros. Bagels

The food is great. The employees are god awful. They get mad if you buy 2 dozen mixed bagels without calling ahead. Heaven forbid a bagel place sell bagels. If I knew I needed em I could’ve called but let’s be honest, bagels are usually a spur of the minute nice little surprise. Not a necessity.

Manager CJ and Crystal are always a joy to encounter when I visit! I was charged twice, due to a glitch in the app. CJ took my information so he could make sure I was taken care of in case the extra charge did go through. He told me to come back and they will gladly give me a refund. Crystal helped to take care of the refund. She even gave me a free sandwich card, due to the fact that I also used rewards for my purchase. Their excellent and warm customer service keeps me coming back!

I arrived at around 10am on a Sunday. I was shocked at how slow the service was. I waited for maybe 30 min for one bagel sandwich and one plain bagel. The place didn't seem very busy which is why I am so confused about the long wait. The food itself was decent. If I had to pick between places though, big apple Bagels has better food.

My husband and I have been going to this Einstein‘s location for breakfast for around 10 years now. The manager there, CJ, is absolutely phenomenal. He is always joyful and a delight to see when you walk in the door. He has also trained his staff so well. We have since moved away from Mequon but will occasionally make the 45 minute drive to visit this location for a delicious breakfast and just to say hi to CJ and his staff. 10/10.

Probably the poorest ran #Einsteinbrosbagels in Wisconsin. No one ever greets you. Back always turned. Shouldn’t have to ask for the bagel to be toasted and quit just sticking both sides together like a sandwich, it just pulls off to one side. Use a box! Shut it down already and let someone else move in. Place has been a failure for years.
