Egg Roll Express

This review is long over due. I was introduced to this place by my cousin who is a foodie. She told me to try the Hot & Spicy chicken which is made with bell peppers and onions. It is absolutely delicious! Eventually I tried the shrimp egg foo young which I’ve love as a small child living in Chicago. With so much appreciation for this dish I was nervous. But OMG! They make it exactly the way I remember and so many places do it differently. I am writing this review today because I drove by and could practically taste this food! So I ordered both AGAIN and devoured the Eggrolls before I even got home to write this lol

The food was not good at all the crab Rangoon tasted nothing like crab Rangoon it was dry the rice tasted old the red sauce was jelly like the orange chicken was hard

Yes, 5 stars... its EGGROLL EXPRESS on Camp Right? Yes 5. Eggroll Express, is the ONE restaurant on camp where your food will ALWAYS be exactly what you paid for. Your order will be correct, quick, and you will have napkins and condiments and a fortune cookie. Everything else on camp besides the mexican restaurants and taco trucks is a toss up. It's not on the menu but you can ask for Egg Foo Yung and it is AWESOME. BEST IN TOWN (went back today 4/17/24 for dinner and got combination egg foo Yung no shrimp. Rice and 3 egg rolls. I have enough to eat to tomorrow. They definitely give you your money's worth

If you’re not a fan of traditional Chinese flavors, this might be a place you’d consider—but I wouldn’t recommend it. We ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and sesame chicken (both with fried rice), plus a side of steamed vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, bell peppers, onions) and egg rolls. The portion sizes were decent. Taste-wise, however, everything fell flat. The food tasted old—almost spoiled—and lacked flavor completely. Not even the typical salty or greasy taste you sometimes find at lower-end spots was there. On top of that, the fried rice was just plain rice—no vegetables, no egg—nothing. And the sesame chicken came without any broccoli, which was disappointing. Overall: Not recommended. Eat at your own risk.

Eggrolls were delicious! It's eggrolls express I didn't expect fancy but the food was good and PLENTY and the folks were friendly.
