Edgewood Plantation B&B

I went to visit this sweet couple Mother's Day weekend and enjoyed myself immensely. I lost my mom and dad in August of 2021 and this couple were some dear friends of my parents. They made me feel at home. Homemade breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings. Church service on Sunday morning. It is quiet and peaceful. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. I stayed in the Bell Tower Room and it was nice and comfortable. Sat on the porch and watched the hummingbirds and listened to the birds as well as enjoying their company. I will be back to visit.

We did not have to use the stairs. |They now have cabins too for a more rustic stay. |Beautiful grounds to relax and take pictures. Spicy grits were the best!

The couple who owns the place are so kind! They let us explore the property and told us about the history of the home. The details of the design of the home were so interesting to see. We loved rocking on the porch watching the hummingbirds as it got dark. Definitely would go again.

This is a beautifully finished 1902 cotton plantation home that serves primarily as an event venue but also has two spacious guest suites for rent. Charlie and Linda are delightful hosts who gave us carte Blanche access to the whole facility. Its location just down the road from Darbonne State Park provides easy access to all kinds of outdoor activities. The generous Southern breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, and biscuits topped off our pleasant stay.

This is a beautifully restored home with intricate details throughout. The owners/hosts are amazing and make you feel like family. The breakfast was home cooked and delicious. You will not be disappointed when you stay here.
