Edgewater Public Library

While this may be one of Volusia County smaller library’s it is big on events and serving the public. All you have to do is look at their June calendar and their Happenings events and I think you’ll agree. I like the staff here. They are friendly, professional and eager to assist you. There is plenty of parking, with easy access to the building. They have a children’s section with public use computers. There is also an adult section with public use computers. There is a large bulletin board in the hallway by the bathroom that has a lot of information of interest to the public.

Very nice, friendly,helpful staff ! My wife and I stopped in today to get our library membership cards . We look forward to future visits with our grandchildren.

I have lived in Edgewater for almost 2 years. I've been to the library several times and was I always thought they were great. I met someone this morning that has no right to be working with the public. I wish I got her name. I'm extremely hard of hearing. I asked a question or 2 through the glass,. The woman behind the glass began speaking. After she had finished, I simply asked her to repeat herself. Apparently, she didn't want to be bothered. Between her rolling her eyes and the look on her face, this simple question really bothered her. It's ironic because as a resident of Edgewater, I believe she works for me, as well as the rest of Edgewater residents. I told this woman what I thought of her!! I hope for her sake, that she never has 95% hearing loss like I do. But there's always

Nice small library. Kids area was set up pretty cool, but unlike other libraries, there were no toys or items to keep younger ones engaged.

Great library—quick stop for library book sales and to check out current magazines and newspapers.
