Edgecombe County Memorial Library

This was such a great library. The ladies who helped me today were sweethearts. They explained everything to me about the library card, how to use hoopla, the website, how I can extend my books, she ordered a book for me, and much more information. This was my first time here and it was the best experience ever. My son was so excited when I brought home books for him and me to read at bedtime. He can not wait to go with me next time to see the library, meet the ladies, and pick his books. This will now become my regular hang-out and go-to. I even bought books for such an amazing price! I had to stop myself before I bought them all 😆 🤣. I have a book obsession. I seriously can not wait to go back. They also have such wonderful events going on all the time. Fantastic! Great hours, super clean and nice atmosphere. They have better hours than libraries I've been to in very large cities. The ability to print documents can be improved upon, but the workers are very helpful and courteous.

Great staff and excellent selection of books

If you like going to the library then you'll like this one. It still has the old library feel but is still to date. Every time I go in the it seems I see or learn something new. They have a section for free computer usage.

The librarian was very rude I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but very disrespectful made me feel unwanted I'm surprised she still has a job with that attitude. Large selection of books, but I do recommend a new hire .
