Eat More Empanadas by Komaos

Delicious empanadas! I had the shredded beef, my husband the chicken, and they were both good. They were so good, I got so busy eating I forgot to get a photo until mine was almost gone! We ate in, the atmosphere was pretty nondescript. We had to wait a long time for our food even though the D. Room wasn't very busy. Our food was super fresh and hot which is, I believe, why it took so long to get. I think it would go a long ways with customers if it was explained that items are cooked to order, or that it's x-amount of time for the next batch to come out of the fryers. I will definitely be back!

The quality of protein in the empanadas seem subpar. It almost feels like they microwave old ones that have been sitting out. They seem frozen, not freshly made or something. I ended up throwing out the food and eating elsewhere. There's another Mexican restaurant in the same plaza strip that will likely put this restaurant out of business soon.

As long as you don't get the Molida empanada you'll probably have good experience. The beef was hard and slightly warm. The chicken and shrimp was freshly cooked. So they actually kept this review from being a 1 star. In conclusion, As a primarily Empanada based Restaurant. Put you focus on that which is your namesake. It was a greatly anticipated visit that just fell short. 1st and last vist. Oh, and not to mention a dry cheese burger without a veggie of condiment in sight. Not even a bottle of ketchup for the fries.

I love, LOVE their empanadas! I always order the carne asada and it is delicious with their house sauce. If you want something light and simple, their cheese sticks are perfect! This is my to-go empanada craving.

My wife and I were passing by and decided to give it a try. We got a few different empanadas and shared them. Absolutely delicious. We had pollo, carne asada, and al pastor. All excellent. The dough was crispy and delicious. Price and quality was right in line. The service was nice and kind. Definitely worth a visit (or two, or three!)
