We had a really great experience at the Captain D’s - Oakwood thanks to one of the staff members, Koen. He was incredibly nice from the moment we walked in. He made sure to help us find the cheapest options for what we wanted and offered a lot of helpful suggestions. He recommended the chocolate cakes, and he was right — we got two and they were delicious! His customer service honestly stood out. We even asked if he was a manager because of how professional and helpful he was, but he said he wasn’t. We’ve been coming here for a long time and have seen him working here for quite a while, and he always does a great job. We’ve had some bad experiences at this location in the past, but recently things seem to have really turned around. Koen gave us some of the best service we’ve had here. He

Love eating at this location, food is always good and hot. The only thing I would have to take off a star for is that there is a lady that typically is at the window and she always licks her fingers to open the plastic bags to put your food in and she touches everything else without washing hands or using gloves. This is unsanitary and un settling. Having a wet paper towel at your station would help instead of using spit. But other than that, this location is top tier.

Honestly this restaurant redeemed my opinion on captain D’s. My food was ready, fresh and on the tray by the time I paid for my food. I had literally zero wait time for my order during lunchtime! The winder location needs to take serious note’s from this store!!

We walked in and an old lady looked at us and said don’t sit at the booths I just cleaned them. No hello or anything. There was 2 hours left until they closed. I did a mobile order and said no chives on our baked potato. When our food came there was chives on our potatoes. When the old lady gave us our new potatoes we said thank you and she didn’t say anything. As a customer we should be able to sit where we want to. She could have washed the table and booth again. We are grown adults not children… we aren’t messy. She was more focused on going home than taking care of the customer. Food had no flavor. Bland.

Great deals, staff and service. They have sanitized tables and distance seating. They don't have condiments out, but they ask what you need and make sure you get it. Always fresh when I eat there. Update 7 15, still clean and good staff. Dinning room is open fully. Couple tables outside too.
