This Deli has one of the best burgers I've ever had. Cant recommend this place enough for a fantastic lunch. Wonderful staff as well.

This steak, egg, and cheese on a roll with home fries, salt, pepper, and ketchup was nothing short of a breakfast masterpiece. Thick, hearty, and packed with flavor, the juicy steak, fluffy eggs, and melty cheese came together perfectly on a fresh, slightly toasted roll. The crispy home fries added just the right amount of crunch, soaking up the savory goodness of every bite. And to top it all off, the coffee, served in those classic blue-and-white Greek diner cups, brought a nostalgic charm that made the meal feel even more satisfying. A perfect start to the day! Definitely stop by and enjoy!

So we thought it was a typical NJ Deli. Well it’s more of an order and sit down it seems? The inside was honestly a bit scary 😆. It was super outdated and almost seemed like are we in the right place? Well the guy was actually nice and we ordered a large sub to share. It was $16. (Based on a previous review we were nervous but he put gloves on and we watched him make it). Well it was HUGE! He cut it into 4 pieces. My husband and I shared and then I had enough for lunch the following day. So I’d recommend a take out.

They don’t make em like this anymore. Food is great. Price is great. Counter banter. Regulars. The whole nine. Coming here is the epitome of “supporting local”—can’t beat it. Come here, put your phone away and enjoy it.

Old school! This is the best deli in all of New Jersey. Katz's Deli has nothing on the East Hanover Deli! While the atmosphere is bustling, Gloria has it in control, the service is great as everyone knows your name and Chris cooks it all. No downside, it is the place to be for breakfast and lunch! Also, GREAT COFFEE with Greek blue and white cup!
