East Cleveland Public Library

Library is centrally located in East Cleveland. There seems to be funding for programming for people of all ages. The computers are newer with large screens and provided headphones, and have privacy dividers. The library is clean and organized and the staff are happy to help. There is ample parking in the rear but it can fill up quickly. Be aware that there is no food or drink allowed so be kind to the security guard when they ask you to give up your coffee, lol.

The library is making strides by remodeling the lobby and making important additions. These improvements will definitely make it a 5 star library, which it now is. It has a new print department for small businesses and individuals. And it has a new outdoor videotron to advertise upcoming library events. Upward and Onward! The Chess program here is booming right now. We currently have two coaches.

Beautiful clean building inside and outside. Very friendly staff. Clean bathrooms just need to keep some hand soap in bathrooms. I told one of the staff employees they need some hand soap in the bathrooms all she said was we have been out for a while . Use the hand sanitizer on the desk. Maybe I'll bring them some in from Giant Eagle This.

The staff looked very nice with they Juneteenth on, the pop up shops out in the back was very organized, But the book sale only had 1 adult book and a few children books, l felt you could have had more books, magazines, tapes to sale.

Beautiful library! Great staff! Excellent choice of activities for children like the chess club. Awesome programs for the whole family! Excellent selection of children’s books that represent Black people, written and illustrated by Black people.
