Dunrovin Country Store

I always come here to get my local to my suprise this year i saw they serve sandwiches!! Complete with a dinning area.so stop in with the kids ...and enjoy the zoo around back.

Unique store filled with more flavors that I can count of bottled sodas, loads of canned goods and a deli with delicious sandwiches. HIGHLY recommend stopping for a bite to eat and browse.

Don’t miss out on this very unique shopping & mini-zoo location! Could have stayed all day looking at the beautiful live birds and other animals in the zoo area behind the store. People of all ages will really enjoy this place, and we had a fantastic time. Plus so many decor items, unique gifts and all types of jams, jellies, candy, fudge, ice cream & snacks. Guaranteed you’ll find the perfect gift for that someone who is hard to shop for. Huge variety of art & decor for the yard and home.

Overall, it was a super cute place. We drove past to take our kid to her appointment and decided to stop by on the way back. The shop is pretty crammed but had sooo many options, it was great! Definitely something for everybody there. The part with the animals wasn’t as great, they should definitely have larger cages. It smelled to high heavens.. have been to many big zoos that have not even smelled that bad. We had to leave the animal part sooner than expected because the smell. I enjoyed saying hello to the parrots & them responding! I would go back, but just for the shop & I am glad we stopped by.

Awesome store. I love stopping by on my trips to Raleigh and back. We always leave with something even it’s just some fudge. They have the best and a good selection. Can’t go wrong with a visit to this store. Unless you can’t afford, like me 😝
