Dunbar Branch-Kanawha County Library

Wish they had more hours and more charging stations but adaquate & friendly, good kid area!

This library is by far my favorite! Dunbar doesn't have a big of a problem with homelessness and drug addicts, they do still have these problems. It happens that most of these problems are right here at Dunbar public library but the librarians are always sweet and kind. My kids love this library!

The Dunbar Library is a fantastic resource for the community! The friendly staff made me feel welcome when I walked in the door, and their dedication to helping me find what I needed was truly appreciated. The library is well-stocked with various materials, and the quiet atmosphere is perfect for reading and studying. I was pleasantly surprised to see dedicated parking spaces for library patrons, making it easy and convenient to visit. I highly recommend this library to anyone.

Love it here my kids always find good selections and they are always getting new titles in! They can order books for you which is awesome and they are all just so nice and welcoming. Love the little events they put on its a great asset to the Dunbar community.

My local library for DECADES! Always peaceful and cheery and every librarian, every employee has always been a pleasure to talk with, always helpful when needed. Kanawha County Libraries are a fantastic option for books, all media. I mostly go with e-books for convenience but for any titles not available electronically, if it's in the system, it's super convenient, easy to place a hold and have it brought to your branch.
