I was so excited for this place to open! Ducks are my favorite animal! So when I heard that there was a place called “Duck Donuts” I knew I had to come and check it out! For my first time here it was amazing! I wore my duck shirt, duck hat, duck socks, and duck bag! (I have many duck theme things and many rubber ducks) But my experience at Duck Donuts was Quack-Tacular! The donuts tasted really good and the strawberry lemonade was so refreshing! Plus the employees were really nice and they complimented my duck outfit! I also was able to get even more duck things, a t-shirt and a rubber duck! Now it will go perfectly with my duck bag! First time trying Duck Donuts, and it was amazing! Even though it’s only been open a week, it was still packed, but every crew member was locked in, hustling to get fresh donuts out. When we received our donuts, they were still hot, which is always a good sign — and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. My fiancée had the Bacon in the Sun, and it was like eating breakfast bacon and pancakes at the same time. The syrup was perfectly gooey and sweet, and the bacon added just the right salty contrast. I went for the Chocolate Caramel Cookie. As someone with a serious sweet tooth, this one hit the spot. The chocolate icing was hot and gooey, the white chocolate crumbles were melting just right, and the salted caramel added that “mmmhmm” moment. Word of advice: bring a napkin (or a few) —

Update: After posting my original review, the owners reached out to me directly and made the situation right. I really appreciate the way they handled it. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and the overall experience people have at their store. Taking the time to respond and address the issue says a lot about their commitment to good customer service. Because of that, I feel comfortable updating my review. We still love Duck Donuts for the creativity, the variety of flavors, and the fun experience my wife and I have building our own donut combinations. The donuts themselves have always been fresh, warm, and delicious. Knowing that the owners are attentive and willing to step in when something goes wrong makes a big difference and shows they stand behind their business. M

We were really excited for weeks leading up to the opening, especially because we’ve enjoyed Duck Donuts in other states. It’s a great addition to the area, but unfortunately our first visit didn’t go as expected. The line was understandably long for opening day, and the staff were friendly and working hard. I ordered a dozen and a half dozen. I dropped off the cookie collection at a party, so I can’t speak on the taste, but the presentation looked nice. However, when my custom half dozen was shown to me, the maple bacon donuts were missing the bacon. After I mentioned it, the box was taken back, but when it returned a few minutes later, the bacon still didn’t look fully cooked.
