First experience at Duck City Bistro. Friday early evening without a reservation, I recommend reservation! The chef met us at the door, inviting us in and assuring a table for us. Before going to our table we where treated the most entertaining show by the chef displaying all the main courses. This was over the top entertainment and assured us we where in for a great dinner. The waiter sat us promptly providing us a short into to the drink menu and dinner menu. The staff was very good. We ordered a vodka martini and a Margarita. Drinks came quick, top shelf drinks. A fresh sour dough bread loft with roasted garlic and fresh butter. The bread was very fresh with garlic was absolutely delicious. Ordered horseradish encrusted salmon and Blackened Cajun Mahi Mahi. It hard to describe
One of the best food experiences I’ve ever had. The chef invited guests to the front display right before seating to explain all items on and off the menu. Started off with the lobster bisque and escargot which both erupted with flavor. The blackened Cajun ribeye with etouffee was cooked to perfection and the etoufee was very rich and complex. The duck confeit was also insanely tender and the best I’ve ever had.
Duck City Bistro was phenomenal. Holly the bartender was incredible—welcoming, attentive, and made the night even better. Chef James absolutely nailed it. The NY strip with risotto was perfect, and the mussels appetizer was outstanding. Easily a must-visit in Davenport.
First-time visitor and absolutely blown away. I had the filet mignon, and everything from the flavor to the presentation was beyond my expectations. Hands down the best-tasting food I’ve had in the Midwest. Duck City Bistro is on another level — I’ll definitely be back.
I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Duck City Bistro! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was total vibes, warm, inviting, and filled with great energy. It's the perfect place for a special night out. The chef was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain each feature of the menu, which was a nice personal touch. It was clear that they put a lot of thought and care into every dish. Our server was equally impressive, attentive, friendly, and very thorough in explaining the menu and wine pairings. As for the food...WOW! We started with a couple of appetizers, the crab cakes were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the escargot was a decadent treat that we couldn't get enough of. Then came the Delmonico steak, absolutely insane. It was
