DuBois Public Library

The DuBois Public Library has a lot of great features. The library is very large and there is a lot of space to look at and numerous tables to sit and enjoy a good book. The book variety is very large for all sections. The children's area is very impressive with the variety. I always enjoy looking through the history and biography sections, and the library has a lot of choices. The library has a computer area and it had several people using the computers. The staff are very nice, but they do not go above and beyond to assist. They are helpful if you ask and will point you in the right direction Overall, the library is very impressive.

This library has a friendly staff, lots of new books, computers, and WiFi plus programs for all ages!

We came for story time and stayed to find books and let my daughter play. This was a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is super helpful.

Update: The children's librarian is wonderful and helped my daughter find all kinds of books. Saturday staff were beyond rude to my wife and children. The staff made it clear that they were unhappy that my family had the audacity to show up around lunchtime. Hopefully weekday staff are more gracious.

The people that work her are often rude and sour. You have to jump through to many hoops to be able to get a library card and even once you do get it, they are still absolute jerks to people. They need nicer people in there and for it to not be so hard to get a library card. You need to pay money if you live out of town. Which is a joke. This is a PUBLIC library not a museum or a important building to the state.
