I found Genesis via an internet search for local bakers. I really wanted to avoid large corps / grocery stores, and I took a chance on DrSoosBakes. I am SO GLAD I did. The cake was for a colleague at work. Pick up went smoothly in Emeryville and I actually carried the cake into work via Bart. The cake was in a high quality box and was on a hard surface and my transport went perfectly. It really MADE our meeting. we got a quarter sheet cake for our 40 or so people and it was perfect. No fewer than 10 people specifically said they enjoyed it. "I never eat cake and this was excellent." "Thank you so much for the cake, it was reeeeaallly good" We had some left over and my 7 year old who has previously said he does not like cake, loved this cake. The cake was also gorgeous.
