Regarding the food and beverages, the place is decent for the price and obviously has an amazing atmosphere/ location. In general the service has been ok too. However... the last time I went there I waited almost an hour to be served. I even asked someone at the bar for a menu to no avail. I left and came back only to be told food is ordered at the front desk near the entrance. This doesn't seem right for a pub of this caliber. I'm sorry, but if I'm expected to tip 10-20% for food I expect to be waited on. Or at least told the correct place to order the food when I ask for a menu.

Wicked overpriced for what you’re getting it’s just simply not worth it like $42 for steak tips come on. Chicken Caesar salad for like $29. It’s just too much but it’s one of the better restaurants to go to on the beach so it’s like you get what you get if you want something good.

AMAZING cocktails!! Got three very different style drinks and all were fantastic. Food was great also! Escargot portion was very generous. “Fig and pig” flatbread was delicious, as well as the shrimp spring rolls. We were traveling from out of state and staying in town for the night, and I immediately put Drift on our itinerary when I was looking for dinner options. I was not disappointed, and would definitely love to come back if we visit here again! It was a quiet Sunday night when we came, but we had such a great time sitting at the bar conversing with the bartenders and the other patrons. Would love to come back for one of their live music nights!

The service here was impeccable. Great drinks and desserts. Always come in here to relax, eat, and unwind. Love this place.

Drift is an amazing restaurant, if you’re visiting Gloucester you won’t want to miss a bite. Attentive and friendly service and incredible food and drinks as well. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting or local!
