Drift on Lake Wylie

I recently attended a private birthday party at Drift on Lake Wylie and had an amazing experience! The room was set up beautifully and created the perfect atmosphere for the celebration. The preset appetizers were all delicious, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, chicken skewers, and deviled eggs. The crab cakes were definitely the star of the appetizers flavorful, perfectly cooked, and unforgettable! For my entrée, I had the salmon and it was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake for dessert was creamy and so good, and the Riesling paired perfectly with the meal. A special thank you to Haley and Paul, they both did a wonderful job and made sure everything ran smoothly. Great food, great service, and a great space for private events. I would definitely return!

Boyfriend and I went for Queen's Feast. Everyone was very nice. Atmosphere was very nice. Eric(our waiter) was top tier. Very pleasant. Service was good. Food came out fast even though there was a lot of people. Ordered Brussels sprouts and the fried oyster Rockefeller. Delicious. Steak was perfect. Drinks were good. I had a nc sour. And he had an old fashion. We enjoyed and will be going back when the weather is better for the full experience. We definitely recommend.

Hands down one of the BEST restaurants I’ve ever been to in Charlotte! Every single detail was flawless; from the stylish décor and gorgeous location to the impeccable service (our waitress Sarah was a gem!). And the food? Truly NEXT LEVEL. 🦞✨ We had the lobster entrée, lamb stroganoff, foie gras, wine, cocktails, and a crème brûlée that melted in perfection. The lobster especially: gutted, seasoned, pan-seared, topped with Gruyère, and baked back in its shell, it was the most extraordinary lobster I’ve ever had. If I could give 10 stars, I would. An unforgettable, jaw-dropping dining experience!

The service here is impeccable. Our server, Taya, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Special mention to the manager, Jennifer. My daughter ordered mashed potatoes from the menu, but apparently they’re only served for dinner. Jennifer had a fresh batch made just for her - and then topped it off with two Drift-branded T-shirts for my two daughters. Last but not least, the food was amazing! 10/10, would definitely recommend.

If you love a peaceful lake view restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food you need to come here. Food is a little pricey but their presentation is top tier & definitely worth the money. Their sides are huge so they’re big enough to share for 2-3 people if you want to save money. We got the crab cakes with street corn and Mac and cheese and everything was delicious. They also have a boat rental place right across from the restaurant which is cool. The waiter greeted us with respect and shared his knowledge of the restaurant’s specialties. 10/10 recommend.
