Customer Reviews
College town fun and good food with creative twists. And it’s affordable and good portions! I never ate at a place that specializes in Calzones. If you buy a drink and a zone you get a free side. The atmosphere was casual and music in the background that was not too loud. The ceiling fan was kind of cold for winter since it was 36 degrees F outside so inside was ok but the fan made it chilly so I kept my winter coat on while eating. Love the cane sugar soda and unlimited fountain drinks for $2.50 a pop. This place opens til 1am today (Sunday 11/16/25) so it’s perfect for late night studying or hanging out w friends late. It’s one of the Only places open for food in town so late. Thank you! It’s a Great service. Vegan cheese $1 upcharge and impossible burger meat calzone for only $10.50. T
I had the Italian Zone and it was excellent. I would highly recommend.
The first restauraunt I ever ate at in Normal, so I might be biased when I say this, but its up there. Its a sharply unique hole-in-the-wall calzone shop with astounding portions and rich flavors. Expect to spend at least $15 or more in here, but id say its good value considering the mountain of pizza pocket you get will be hard to finish as a single meal unless you happen to have just been rescued from a deserted island.
My first time in the place as a parent of an ISU student. I heard good things from my daughter so I went to pick some calzones up and visit her. After walking in, nobody was around. I hit the doorbell and a woman came to the counter. I explained that I was new to the place and asked several questions about ordering and a lunchtime deal. The woman seemed very irritated by my questions and said they didn’t have a meal deal. I ordered 3 calzones and explained I wanted one bagged separately. Seemed to go in one ear and out the other. Also, while waiting for my order, I found the meal on the menu! When the food finally arrived it was bagged together. So I reminded her that I needed the one calzone separate. She said “ You can take it out of the bag because they are in separate boxes.” I explain
Phenomenal calzones with plenty of cheese, yet to be disappointed. Gotta order ahead the wait can get extensive if ordering in
