Customer Reviews
First time at the Central Ave location. Although service was attentive the food was not as good as the store on Ruben Torres. There were no chips brought to the table, the salsas were in small bottles which was different, however, the cork tops are not hygienic... Just saying. Shouldn't all restaurants serve the same? We ordered the Mexican Plate and sides of flour and corn tortillas. It was OK. Seems as if the taste was off compared to the Ruben Torres location. We probably won't return to Central, but for sure to Rubrn Torres.
The service was ok, the workers would go to the side and gossip and not even check up on the customers the manager/supervisor did that.. the food was good i got chilaquiles price wise I feel like maybe it should've been $8 but that's just me... It was Sunday when I went they had one type of music playing when walking in then another in the kitchen which was very loud it seemed like they were rasing on one side then the other would do the same... The one on Boca chica is just top notch the prices are the best over there ....will I come back to the one on central that's gonna be a no 😔
The menudo especial was very good & worth the price. I personally dont like my menudo chunks big, but they were easy to cut with a knife. 😊
We went in and sat down and the waitresses instead of giving us a menu just asked if were helped yet which our response was "no" and they just walked off. The food was okay but their attitude needs to be fixed. The short lady was really rude to us just because we returned a plate(cook your food better). The cashier guy was also really rude. The service is HORRIBLE in this location.
The food here is really good, and I especially love the breakfast burritos! However, they rarely open on time, their hours say 7 a.m., but the doors often stay closed past that. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to grab breakfast before work but can’t because you’ll be late. Sticking to the posted schedule would definitely help keep customers coming back!
