Down South Restaurant

I tried this spot 2 weeks ago and have ordered at least 5 times. I want to try everything on there menu. So far, the things I've tried has been a 10 out of 10. I ordered the Seafood Eggrolls, the 40 Drip flavored Wing Special, Flamin Hot Cheeto Boudain Balls, the Cheeseburger (both beef & vegan), and the Strawberry milkshake. And when I tell you everything was still hot and fresh even when I ordered on DoorDash. Always fresh ingredients and you can tell they using clean grease. Now on my new list of favorite spots. Definitely worth trying.

I’ve been waiting for the store to reopen so when they came right down the street, I was ready to go. I went about a week ago and came for their $5 junior plate special with a slice of Oreo cheesecake. The cheesecake was so good and I don’t really even like cheesecake usually. Same goes for burgers, but their junior box with the burger wings and fries is a great value and will be back soon for sure.

Food was amazing. Im extra funny bout mac n cheese. They passed.. seasoning on point and cooked well. Will return.. Definitely get the sauces Customer service was top tier very welcoming and gave good recommendations 👌

I’ve been to Down South Restaurant twice in the last 24 hours, that’s how good it is! I tried the 24K Wings, Shrimp, Mac and Cheese, Seafood Pasta, and Jerk Pasta with Shrimp, every single dish was a 10/10. The flavors were bold, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just right. The Seafood Egg Rolls? Absolutely 10/10! Crispy, flavorful, and packed with seafood in every bite. Be sure to ask for the dipping sauce. Everything was fresh, hot, and worth the wait. When you go twice in 24 hours, you already know it’s a hit. I’ll definitely be back again! 🔥 As for the strawberry cheesecake, it wasn’t my favorite. It tasted a bit on the inexpensive side, but since this isn’t primarily a dessert spot, I didn’t have high expectations. It was okay, just not the highlight of the meal.

Flavor-packed comfort food with a southern twist! Wings are well seasoned and crispy, perfectly paired with house sauces. The owner/chef, & staff are welcoming and know what they’re doing. Will be trying the seafood next time. Definitely recommend!
