He was really nice and polite. He gave a really great rate for coming out to notarize a document for me. I will definitely be calling if I need any more services. I also liked that he brings rocks to his new clients.

I have visited the Hogg mine four or five times over the years and have always found lots of beautiful rocks. Rose quartz, quartz points, tons of black tourmaline, and occasional beryl / aquamarine. Definitely worth my drive from Michigan and a fun way to spend a Saturday. Thanks!

Just wanted to share some before and after cleaning pics of rocks that I collected at Hogg mine on 9/13/25. All was surface collected and found in about 2 hours.

Most definitely efficient in my book... It's like a 1 stop shop. Very pleasant and genuine guy, I would recommend to anyone.

I’ve had wonderful experiences when visiting Hogg Mine. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, the place is nicely maintained and clean. It’s does take a bit of luck, patience and hard work to be successful but it’s definitely worth the effort. The admission fee is very reasonable and being out in the open air makes for a great day.
