Dough Momma Pizzeria

Tried Dough Mama Pizzeria and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered the traditional wings with their house sauce and the hot honey pizza with red sauce. Both were excellent. The wings were crispy and flavorful, and the pizza had the perfect balance of sweet and heat with a great New York-style crust.What really stands out is the sense of community. You can tell this place genuinely supports local teams and causes, and it feels like a true neighborhood spot. Friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere, and consistently good food.

The pizza here totally hit the spot! We took it to the beach and it was perfect New York-style, flavorful, and we loved adding ricotta. The salad wasn’t our fave (a bit too much arugula), but that pizza? So good. Even the ranch was great. Simple, satisfying, and exactly what we needed for a beach night.

Had a great lunch with my wife. We enjoyed the 2-Slice + beer special and a side Caesar salad (which was excellent). Sarah is a gem behind the counter. Perhaps people look past a “pizza joint” when in La Jolla, but it’s their loss… I recommend this for good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

I walk in and it seemed BUSY!! TIKTOK did it's thing!! The girl at the counter was acknowledging walk ups, making wing orders, and answering phone. The two chefs in the back were making pizzas like the pros they are. I wanted their 2 slices and a beer ($14 deal) but they ran out of pizza, no prob. I got a house blonde, garlic knots and wings traditional. She said here's your beer hang out and give me 10 for the rest. They have a cute outside patio and indoor dinning. Indoor TV had sports, movie and a kid friendly show. After scoping out the patio, I came back inside and she spotted me sitting down apologized for the wait and said we got more slices if you want to take a look. I thought she would have forgotten. I got a slice of meat lovers and she brought it to me. ☺️ Hot Honey is amazing.

I placed a takeout order and had a bit of a mixed experience, but the service saved it. ​The Good: ​Food: The meatballs were delicious and the Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. ​Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and apologetic about the hiccups. Atmosphere: Clean restaurant that smells AMAZING! ​The Not-So-Good: ​Availability: It was "Wing Wednesday." They informed me they couldn't fulfill that part of my order - they were out of wings. ​Special Requests: I requested no bell peppers on my pie. They cooked it with bell pepper, and picked off the peppers after it was already cooked, instead of offering to make a new one. Turnaround: The order took about an hour longer than it was scheduled to be ready. ​Overall, the flavors are there and the staff is great, but the attention to d
