Double J's LakeHouse

Double J's LakeHouse was an amazing trip! One of the nicest and cleanest places we have ever stayed. Joanne was a great host with a lot of attention to detail and amenities. Her and her husband were very nice and welcoming. The kitchen was full of good snacks and drinks when we arrived. We had the best time fishing, swimming, using the kayaks, and we even rented a boat. The dock and view were also amazing. We would definitely return for another trip!

Both the house and host were amazing. We stayed here to celebrate my graduation, and JoAnne left a little congratulatory gift for me upon arrival. These personal touches were evident throughout the house and stay, and I see why she’s truly a super host. As for the house, it had a beautiful view of the water, and we had a wonderful time getting out on the kayaks and paddle boards, relaxing on the screened in porch during a quick rain, and having dinner with a view from the house at night. The beds were all very comfortable, the place was clean, and it had everything we could ask for. I highly recommend Double J’s LakeHouse to anyone!

Just a beautiful house. We rent often at different spots across the nation and this was the best appointed rental we have ever been in. The owners were incredibly helpful and the place was super clean and updated with amazing views. We had our fun in the water and came back from excursions ready to use the BBQ for our meals. The owners even stock the place with loads of goodies. Just A+ experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back!

JoAnne is the QUEEN of all short-term stay hosts! My family had the most incredible time staying at her lakehouse, and her hospitality was absolutely unmatched. She took special care to prepare each room to the needs of our kids' ages and sleeping arrangements, and the entire kitchen was filled with every imaginable snack, condiment, and coffee preference. The local fresh bagels and cream cheese were an added touch, for sure! We had a blast enjoying the lake view, the back deck scenery, and the boat dock. With a 2-yr-old in tow, I especially loved the screened porch on the deck with a door that would keep the toddler contained while still being able to enjoy the water with my family. Loved our stay at Double J's lake house. A perfect week with our girls at the lake. Everyone had a wonderful time. The lake house was amazing. JoAnne has thought about everything her guests may need. The rooms were clean and nice as well as the bathrooms. The downstairs has fun family activities to do play together after a day at the lake. We paddle boarded, boated and swam all day. The location is so beautiful and peaceful. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck looking over the beautiful lake. We defiantly want to come back again! Highly recommend!!
