Charlie's Restaurant Lounge

I can honestly say that this is one of the few restaurants where we can state that every menu item that we ordered was delicious. My wife ordered fried catfish with two sides of hush puppies and baked macaroni my order consisted of fried chicken livers wrapped in bacon with fried onion rings and squash as my two sides. We both sampled everything we ordered and gave it a big thumbs up. The only downside that we can state was that it took over 1/2 hour to get our order, despite a low number of patrons who where dining, and the waitress only checked in on us once. Most of the patrons were either playing Billiards and or drinking. Despite the long time to get our food we will be coming back again to make sure that this was just an anomaly.

It would be nice if the ladies working the bar had a system to actually know how long you played. I thought tables were $7.00 per hour. Last Tuesday (11-11-25) we played for two hours and was charged $7.00. Two weeks ago we played for an hour and a half and I was charged $17.50. When I questioned it I was told "according to the bar clock" I played 2 1/2 hours on table 14. I'm pretty sure there are only 11 tables. Basically I never know what it's going to cost me to play especially early in the day right after opening.

Took my date for dinner, drinks, & pool. We had a great time. Server suggested BBQ tater, meat is smoked in house! As a fellow server, I appreciate her suggestions and great demeanor

Went there today for the first time and it was a good visit. We were looking for a smoke free place to shoot pool.

Charlie’s has been around as long as I can remember. Soddy-Daisy has two long-standing bars, Charlie’s is one of them. It’s fun, the drinks are great, and the food is good.If you like pool you will love it. Sometimes there is live music.
