Double Dip

The tenderloin sandwich was the bomb! Best I have ever had. And the fries were cooked perfectly. The portions were more than plenty. The service was friendly and the place was clean. I was just passing through town and this was the perfect place to stop. It's worth checking out the town, as well. I would definitely return here.

I loved double dip as a kid and live an hour away now but try to catch it when I'm in town as an adult ....finally caught them open today and man what a disappointment! The man who took our order was extremely rude, the place was filthy dirty, and the rude man at the counter and the lady cooking everything argued the whole time we were there, right in front of kids and other customers. Very unprofessional! The ice cream was good but that was about the only thing!

A very popular joint in town. You can tell by how many people have called in orders and stop to dine-in within the short time that you're there. Inside the interior is dated and kinda rundown, and smells like old fryer grease. The people were very nice and the food was good. The prices I think are reasonable for the portion of food you get. The location is busy so we waited a little while for our food. If they had more staff it would have been a shorter wait. Still worth it.

We found this place on Google maps as we were driving across Iowa. Our young adult and teenage kids were hungry but my husband and I just wanted a pick-me-up. Our order was two cheeseburgers, three shakes, and two scoops. Everything was quickly ready and was delicious! The hot fudge milk shake I got was one of the tastiest I've ever had. And something about the way he made it meant it had less air in it than a lot of shakes I've had. Therefore, it didn't give me the post-shake-bloat. Our whole meal was cheap compared to most of our other road trip meals. I only gave 3 stars on "atmosphere" but "atmosphere" is not why we chose it. it was clean, but in desperate need of updating. Stayed overnight for work and the hotel had the menu there so I called him up and got a chicken sandwich, fries and a drink for $7.25 He delivered it within 45 minutes and it was delicious.
