Double Cheese

The DC classic served here is everything you could possibly want of a smashburger. The two patties have a crispy ragged edge, yet are still juicy and flavorful. The cheese is nice and gooey and the pickles, made on site, are abundant. I added ketchup so I really can't comment on the special sauce. I think next time I'll request raw rather than caramelized and pickled jalapeno slices in place of the somewhat bland hamburger pickles. The french fries were coated and crispy and the service was excellent. I'll be back to try some of the other variations of the sandwich.

So the fascination of smash burgers continues with this new installment in the village of Liverpool. However, while many places just add this style burger to their menu this place actually started with this "trend" in mind. All burgers are a smash burgers.There's a deluxe, one with bacon, of course, and one that's spicy. And while the prices are comparable, the free fries that come with it are a plus. My milkshake was made fresh as the burger and the fries were crisp. The wait was a little longer than I expected, especially since we can when it opened for lunch, but there was a big party that they were preparing for. They do have boozy drinks and boozy shakes. A burger and shake place that's done it right. We'll come again.

What a great local owned. Staff was amazing—hate to be that guy, but I placed a late-night order and the team was more than accommodating. They even fired the grill back up without any issue. The food was excellent. Best burger in the village, for sure. Ps, don’t be that guy just cause I was

Sit at the bar! Ask for Alex 🏓! The burgers are incredible. Get the roasted jalapeños on the side and add them to the cheese sauce… That’s the pro tip. Plenty of seating plenty of parking super clean and absolutely delicious. Don’t forget the shakes.

Double Cheese was excellent! The service was great, staff was nice & we got our food fast. The atmosphere was fun and unique. Open floor concept with music playing and TV’s playing all sorts of shows/sports. The burgers, were DELICIOUS. Arguably the best smash burger I’ve ever had. Great taste and cooked fantastic. Definitely will be coming back.
