Dos Primos Mexican Restaurant

So glad I stopped here instead of getting fast food. Delicious, and the atmosphere inside is so beautiful. I got the pollo fundido for lunch and saved half for my dinner tonight, spending a total of $15 (including 20% tip)

Small Mexican restaurant with beautiful wall paintings and delicious food. It can get busy which seems to overwhelm the few servers a little.

I ordered a cheese quesadilla... I was served a small flat tortilla with some kind of very thin milky white sauce. I asked the waiter what kind of cheese was in there and he told me it was American cheese, every body likes American cheese. I don't like American cheese, especially when it is unrecognizable even as American cheese I assumed that they used cheddar cheese, and that honestly is on me. Will not ever order anything with cheese at this location. Their beans were delicious, their rice was not that good either. May have picked a bad day to go. The service was great. It was warm and cozy...and the price of the meals were very reasonable.

Today we stopped in after shopping, right when they opened. We were the second family seated and they took our drink order. That was the last we saw of our waiter. He kept attending to other tables that came in after us and wouldn't take our order. After a 37 min wait, I went to the kitchen window to ask to place an order. Five minutes later they sent a waiter to our table. After we got our food, they didn't come back to the table again, until I went to the kitchen table again to ask for a refill and our check. No apologies. If you're looking for good service, I would highly advise you to seek another Mexican option in town unless you like being your own server. FYI there was not a lack of staff and the restaurant was not even half full. There is no excuse for bad service.
