About Dos Hermanos Cafe
Although the business name is translated to “Two Brothers”, it is more of a family affair. Gabriel and Josue Azcorra dove head first into the baking industry. After nearly a decade managing the artisan old-schooler Delphina’s—who serviced large... More

Came here after seeing they won Best of Willamette 2025 – Best Bakery. I tried the chopped sandwich — the portion was generous and the flavor was quite good. I also picked up a chocolate croissant; it leaned more toward a bread-like texture rather than the super flaky, layered style. That really just comes down to personal preference. The staff were friendly and the dining space is simple and casual. If you’re a sandwich fan, you’ll likely really enjoy this spot.
As soon as you walk in you'll be hit by the lovely smell of pan. It's like jumping into a pool if deliciousness. I ordered the turkey bacon avocado chopped sandwich (no bacon) and a concha muffin. Idk why chopped sandwiches aren't more regular. They can be messy but damn is every bite just a perfect bite. The concha muffin was perfection- soft, fluffy, perfect rise and birthday cake sprinkles, I wish I could have one daily. Fast, friendly service and fantastic quality of ingredients. I'm so mad I live too far to be a regular but so glad my schedule finally aligned to have me in the area during their operating hours.
Ive been here previously, really enjoyed their sandwiches, I think their fresh bread is awesome on there. The ingredients are locally sourced it seems, very fresh, and well prepared. Super yummy!! Gotta say, there’s very much an attitude of hurry up n order, which didn’t seem very inviting, but ya know not all places need to be your friends. I actually had cash o. Me n would’ve tipped alil bit more if the register gal wasn’t very short n impersonable w/ me. I always try to be courteous and at least kind. She wasn’t rude tho, just seemed over it. Might’ve been her off day, wouldn’t not go because of it, but definitely would think again. I very specifically had a first time good experience and sought after eating here again because of that experience. THEY gave me a FREE cookie when I first
Incredible!! The CHOPPED SANDWICHES!!! so rare in portland and they are amazing. Obviously the bread and pastries were great. I loved the space too. Service was fantastic. I’m such a big fan you will see me here often!
2 out of 3 times I’ve picked up sandwiches from Dos Hermanos, the dessert order is missing. And that is even after I ask the server to confirm that it’s there. It’s a bummer to get home with a stapled closed paper bag only to find that the cookie or sweet roll is not there! I really want to like this place, but I’m not going back because it’s such a pain in the neck. The sandwiches are okay, not excellent but fine.
