Donuts Donuts

Donuts Donuts, I've never eaten there before. It's a small donut shop in Fayetteville very near the VA Medical Center and not far from the University of Arkansas campus. I used the drive through and was met by a gentleman who was very good at getting me to buy more tasty donuts than I wanted. LOL, both him and the lady inside were very good at making their donuts, apple fritters and other things sound so good that I came away with not one but 3 apple fritters, 2 donuts and a long John donut. When we got home, we ate several of the fritters and donuts. They are very good. Truly. Don't miss out on some good donuts if you're in Fayetteville Arkansas y'all.

I woke up craving donuts and a drive, so I loaded up my faithful companion, Biscuit the corgi, and picked the third closest option on Google maps. Fate and luck were with me, as that sent me to Donuts Donuts. The restaurant is housed in the remains of an old sonic drive-in, and it put me in mind of one of those tidy little vendor shops from Fallout. I love that vibe. I was reminded of my favorite restaurant from my home town; a strangely liminal pho shop stuffed inside an old gas station. The proprietor of the shop was exceptionally kind and friendly, especially for 7 in the morning! We chatted about our dogs, how they are spoiled but family, and she even tossed in a few plain donut holes for my Biscuit! The price was very fair at $9 for 3 fresh donuts and 2 kolaches. And the donuts? Me

I called a couple of days ahead of time to place an order for 13 dozen donuts. The guy I spoke with on the phone (possibly the owner) was so friendly and so helpful. He took my order over the phone and had everything boxed up early this morning for pick up. Boxes were conveniently placed in bags for easy transportation and they helped me carry them out to the car. Great customer service and all the staff were very kind. They have a lot of construction going on in front of their business on college Ave, so I’m writing this in hopes that those looking for a wonderful local business to support - consider shopping here for your donut needs!!

Kolache was fresh, but there was a strong horseradish taste. Their chocolate icing was tasty, but overall donut flavor was basic. Friendly Staff. Good Prices. Fast Service.

The man at the counter was more concerned with what was on the TV than helping me check out. Than as I was contemplating the price and asking for the half dozen price he said I got the wrong donuts, which he could have said before I checked out. So I paid more than I wanted to especially with horrible customer service. 5 people in the store and none of them seemed to care they were running a business.
