Donut Connection

Barely had any selection of donuts. I settled for a vanilla sprinkle donut and it tasted exactly like the ones from Dunkin which are frozen, not freshly made. Got a breakfast sandwich too but the bacon wasn't fully cooked, was rubbery instead of crispy. The only thing good about it was the fresh egg. The place looked kinda dumpy too. The menus look way outdated. They also sell cigarettes and lottery tickets which was weird for a place that is supposed to be a donut/breakfast shop. Never been to a donut connection before so this definitely wasnt a good first impression.

Service received a 4 due to the last two days I grabbed breakfast for work my order has been incorrect. Unfortunately by the time I noticed it I am at work already. Yesterday I asked for a bagel egg bacon and cheese instead I received it on a croissant. Today I asked for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel made sure I spoke slow and said it loud. I got to work was surprised to receive a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel, no bacon. The morning I fill it’s like you get what you get and take it service. Normally I have no issues with this place at night, but they need to repeat the order in the morning since they are getting it wrong and people don’t have time to go back to get it fixed.

It's a hit or miss here. Sometimes I'll grab a coffee in the early morning and it's absolutely amazing, sometimes it tastes like they microwaved three day old coffee. The doughnuts aren't usually that bad though, the maple glazed one is my favorite! They do take a while, even if you just order an ice cream. I really recommend the chocolate shake too 😋

I had a similar experience as other reviewers. They now have a $5 minus for accepting credit cards. I had to leave empty handed since I rarely have cash. Terrible business practice for a place where you are theoretically supposed to be able to drive through and pick up a quick coffee and donut. Never going here again. Who uses cash these days?

Very great shop, cute and comfortable atmosphere. AMAZING ICED COFFEE! Some of the best in town, 100x better than Dunkin! My only caveat is that for a place called Donut Connection, the donut recipe needs updating or something because I have yet to eat a donut there that I really liked.
