Customer Reviews
Wonderful customer service. Very big portions and also very tasty! My boyfriend had the papas locas 3 meats and I had a plate with carnitas, rice and fried plantains. The tres leches was phenomenal as well as the fresh tamarind water.
My first time here, it was decent. Prices, for lunch, were reasonable at $10 a plate. The fountain drink was over $4, too much. The pork was moist and tasty. The rice was a bit bland, as were the plantains - the sauce helped. I plan to try the tres leches next time.
Just tried this restaurant with my mom for the first time and every bite was delicious! We both got the lunch special, which is 1 meat, rice, and 1 side, but they can make just about anything else for you as long as you’re willing to wait. The lunch special was flavor HEAVEN. The yucca was perfectly buttery and garlicky, the chicken was malt and bursting with flavor. And the portions were massive! Had enough for a sizable dinner as leftovers. And if nothing else, you gotta get the pastries. We got the guava pastry and Bavarian crepe pastry and they were both excellent. Please support this amazing business!
Welcomed nicely and the server was very cheerful. I had my first plantain with beaf and cheese. It was good! I also had a very generous helping of seasoned rice and very tasty macaroni salad. I will go back to try other genuine Puerto Rican cuisine!
This was my first time eating here and really my first time eating at a PR restaurant. I’ve had PR food before but always prepared by friends. I must say that it was really, really good. The pork was seasoned to perfection and very tender. The rice, macaroni salad and plantains were equally delicious and paired perfectly with the pork. I’m sorry I don’t know much about PR food but I’d definitely eat here again and I highly recommend giving them a try. They are very friendly and the service was very expedient. What more could you ask for?
