Donovan's Irish Pub - Bennington, Vermont

This place should not advertise as an Irish bar, it's an insult to all Irish Bars/Pubs, Service was horrible, bar tender couldn't stay off her phone and then she had to take her turn in the pool game... do not recommend on our experience.

The Bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. They prepared a complimentary thanksgiving dinner this year, which really saved the day for my family and I who couldn't make dinner as we were visiting our mother in the hospital. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture to the community and we really appreciated it.

It can be fun, but it's more for a younger crowd, and a little rough. The live music they have is good, but unless you're a local I wouldn't go there.

Enter at your own peril. It reeks of body order as soon as you walk in. The bartenders are rude, the beer is watered down and the fried food is hardly ever cooked all the way through. Worst bar in Bennington.
