Island Flavor - Jamaican Restaurant

Wife and I drove from NY to Vermont to island Flavors because Jamaican food is one of those spicy foods that once in awhile you just HAVE TO HAVE... So the drive was worth it 😁. I got the curry goat and the wife got curry chicken though it was a bit boney I think this contributes to the flavor of the dish, needles to say we didn't wait to get all the way home to eat it. Found a safe place to pull off on rt 7 west to try it... Thank you Island Flavors you hit the mark... We will see you again the drive was definitely worth it... On my Yummy meter 4 Yumms. Yeah Mahn...

I called ahead of time to place the order. The vibe is quiet and I enjoyed all the decor. The owner was very attentive in making sure my dish was dairy free. I was told the rice had butter in it so I received extra cabbage instead. I was satisfied and ate everything.

Went here with my husband for dinner. What a great choice! We are visiting New England for a few days and loved the food. Perfect spice level. Great service. I had the curry chicken with cabbage and rice and peas. He had the curried fish. Both were delicious. Highly recommend!

11/10 food and atmosphere!! We traveled around VT and NH for our anniversary and ended up in Bennington for a couple days. I wanted to save the best for last (best being based on reviews and personal food likes), and it truly is THE BEST. My favorite restaurant we visited throughout the whole trip, and wish we had Island Flavor back home in Burlington, VT.

Stopped in today and had a taste of greatness. I had curry chicken and plain rice, it was delicious. I love the atmosphere inside. A little island warmth inside. Plus they also have Jamaican sodas amazing
