Donna's on Main

We had a group of 12 arrive after a funeral service. We had called a few days prior to say we'd be there at 2 but our plans changed last minute and we had to arrive 2 hours earlier than our reservation. When I called before arriving Donna was more than accommodating and told us to come right in. We were seated in the back area which could have accommodated up to 20 people. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Everyone's food looked great and we especially loved the mac and cheese egg rolls. Donna came out to greet us as well while we were there to thank us for being there. Great atmosphere, good food, friendly service! Huge menu selection too!

Stopped by for a bite to eat on a random Thursday evening before the Christmas holiday got into full swing and was very happy to finally have a chance to try the place out. Just come on in and have a seat. We chose the upper seating on the left but a couple tables on the lower right side had folks so they were enjoying themselves. It was light traffic. Didn't know if it was because they recently reopened or because it was early in the middle of the week. Either way, your lose for not being there! The hostess/waitress/bartender did an exceptional job and was very pleasant the entire time we were there. I can't pass up meatloaf on a menu so I had my favorite dish and they did a great job with it. And there was PLENTY to eat from it. Side of mashed potatoes and gravy on everything just hit

I live locally and had to run “into town” for a few things. My husband and I decided to make an impromptu day date of the trip and stop somewhere for a bite together. I will admit, this was not our first choice, we actually checked out 2 different places on the Main Street strip but one was closed and the other was only carry out (they had 3 or 4 “tables” but they were literally the size of a small tire lol.) We finally settled on Donna’s and I’m so glad we did! I ordered a burger and fries, my husband ordered a crab cake sandwich and sweet potato fries. We also ordered hush puppies as an appetizer. As a Maryland native I am happy to say that the crab cake was amazing. NO FILLER and good sized for the price. The burger was more than I expected it to be, I was honestly fearful it would be a

Overpriced: $22 for fries, slaw & three cod fish pieces about the size of fish fingers. Fish was dry and tough. Service was slow and inattentive. Very disappointing.

Four of us stopped in for a late lunch. The bartender was quite funny, and our drinks came quickly. The food was great, except for the overcooked broccoli. Duggy's fried chicken was awesome, as was the barbecued pulled pork. My wife loved her portobello burger. The sweet potato fries and mac/cheese sides were delicious. The service was slow even though the place was nearly empty. But our waitress was very nice and helpful. It's a bit of a run down place, but clean and reasonably comfortable. Go for great food and drinks!!
