Donatos Pizza

A good selection of meals to choose from. My wife and I enjoy their freshly made salads. We do mostly take out but have dined in on occasion. The atmosphere is nice and there's usually CATV on for entertainment. If your planning on dining in, you can also enjoy free self service drink refills. The staff are pleasant and helpful if there is an issue with your order which may happen on a rare occasion. All in all a good choice anytime.

I doubt this review will be seen, but I must say that this is hands down the best pizza in the city of Newport News. The quality is always amazing and so is the service. What pushed me to write a review today was the interaction I had with one of the members of staff. I unfortunately forgot to ask his name but today (1/29/26 @ approx. noon) he wore a grey hat, grey sweater, and black pants. We had a very enthralling conversation about the Hello Kitty creator and general art things once he mentioned my hoodie. I hope that I run into him again. Amazing food and people working there 😊

As a New Jersey local, I was very amazed by how good this pizza was. The cheesy bread and marinara sauce were also delicious. Shout-out to Aaron for being a funny guy! Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

4.2⭐️ Donatos was a pleasant surprise! I will never say no to pizza, and my husband said we should try this place since we drive by it daily. We wanted to try some pizzas that we wouldn’t normally get. So we got the Mariachi Beef and Hot Chicken pizza. Both were very good! I was sure about pickles on pizza, but it was pretty good! I would definitely recommend this place.

was a lil disappointed. menu sounded very different and enticing, but what I got was really mid. I got a small pizza with nashville chicken, jalapeños, pineapple, onion, and black olives. the pizza felt like the toppings were thrown on after the fact and warmed, or maybe grilled separately then put on top?? the veggies and pineapple were barely cooked and not settled in the cheese if ya know what I mean.. the jalapeño things were alright I guess but super greasy and included in it was a packet of newmans ranch and I kinda expected a homemade ranch. idk if my expectations were just too high or what but yea
