Dona Maria Tamales Restaurant

Place was good. I settled for Pozole, a traditional Mexican soup. It was good...not like my Grandmother's though. It did it's job. The chips and salsa were good. The Server was a little slow, but the food came out fast. It was a comfortable place. I walked from MGM to Circa and that's when I came across this place. I would come back again.

This place was amazing! The tamales were perfect. I had a great taco that didn’t fall apart, and my wife loved her enchilada. The pitcher of margaritas was also pretty awesome. Service was great, and I love the atmosphere in the restaurant. Next time we stay on Fremont Street, we will be back. It’s worth the walk.

​I had a bit of a mixed experience at Doña Maria Tamales. First off, the service was fantastic—very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived (only two other tables), and there is plenty of well-lit parking, which is a huge plus in Vegas. ​The food itself tasted fantastic. The red sauce on the enchilada was truly out of this world! However, be prepared for "Strip prices" and a lot of upcharges. We ordered a ground beef and bean burrito a la carte, but it comes plain. If you want cheese, lettuce, tomato, or to make it "wet" with sauce, those are all individual extra charges. ​Overall: Great flavors and even better service, but the nickel-and-diming for basic toppings makes it a tough sell for a return visit.

Known for their tamales, they did not disappoint. They had so many great options and a full breakfast and lunch menu as well. The salsa was absolutely delicious! Services fast, friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. I recommend it to all who visit Las Vegas!

Absolutely fantastic experience! The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible… I ordered the carne asada tacos with rice, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and freshness. The Neapolitan fried ice cream was the perfect way to finish the meal, seriously so good. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
