I cannot say enough amazing things about Don Pan on Oakland Park and Nob Hill! I’ve been coming here for years, and it has always been one of my absolute favorite spots. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, and for me, that’s almost always thanks to Sonia. She’s the sweetest, most professional, charismatic, and genuinely kind person — she makes every visit special. Honestly, there are days I come in just because I know I’ll get to see Sonia and have her take my order. She always makes me feel like a valued customer, and her positive energy is contagious. As for the food — phenomenal. My go-to is the Arepa Don Pan — packed with flavor, perfectly made, and so filling. The food is always fresh and delicious — I especially recommend the empanadas and bowls, they’re full of flavor and never disappoint. The coffee is excellent too, smooth and rich, making it the perfect match for any meal or pastry. One of the best things about Don Pan is their nightly special: every evening at 8:00 pm, they offer a buy-one-get-one-free deal on whatever is left in the display case. And it’s not just scraps — there’s usually plenty of options to choose from. It’s a great way to try different pastries and treats at an unbeatable value. I was away for more than 18 days and the first thing I do is to come back to Don Pan on Oakland Park Blvd nearby my home. The service is super and top of the line. The staff is amazing and Sonia is the best as usual. They are always greeting me as a good friend and they are always calling me by my name: “Giovanna”. I have being a client since 10 years ago and I became a client in the location by Sawgrass Mall and Sunrise Blvd. I will never stop coming into this place. I love ❤️ Sonia, Jessenia and all the staff of this specific location of Oakland Park. I am always great-full and happy client with them.

The staff is usually friendly and hard working. Coffee is always good. Wish the music was Latin to reflect the actual business. Anyone having issues with them, it's probably you because they are always pleasant people to deal with.

Tasty cachitos, empanadas de carne mechada. Asked for a "cortadito" if you like espresso machiato type. Great service, nice crew.
