Don Julios Mexican Restaurant

This restaurant recently opened up in place of the previous Mexican food spot that was here before. When I say this is a step up I mean it. The salsa that comes with the chips is better. The flautas here are better. The enchiladas in the house made sour cream sauce are 🔥🔥🔥. The guacamole tasted so fresh. The portions are large. My family and I are very satisfied customers and we will be back. The staff was very kind and courteous also. Welcome to the neighborhood Don Julios!

Don Julio’s gives you what we wished lemon y sal would have. Good food, excellent service and a clean restaurant. We loved the different hot sauces they gave us and their food was delicious. They do not have a liquor license yet. But when they do get it, our only request is that they have large real Tex-Mex style margarita glasses. Texans want good food, good salsa and strong large margaritas! I would definitely recommend this place!

We discovered this hidden gem tucked away in the countryside of Magnolia and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. Don Julios Mexican Restaurant serves some of the best Mexican food we’ve had anywhere in the Houston area. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. The warm salsa they bring out with the freshly cooked tortilla chips is absolutely delicious and hard to stop eating. The crawfish were amazing and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food. Service was prompt and very friendly, and the whole place had a welcoming small town feel. They also have a great patio that’s perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a meal. Definitely worth the drive and we will be coming back again.

The food is fantastic and a lot of times you have to deal with subpar service just to get a great meal. Not Here! The service is amazing, everyone is nice. I’m sitting at the table and I have had 3 different people check on us. We know exactly who our waiter is but the rest of the staff is stopping by just to check and make sure we don’t need anything. We will definitely be coming back, I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone that love Mexican food like me, best I’ve been to in years!

I ordered birria everywhere I go. It is my favorite dish. I was passing thru so why not. The birria tacos had great flavor, seasoned well and the consome went well. The server was always checking on us. When I pass thru here again I will for sure stop by. My nephew had the beef fajita torta and he is a picky kid but he sure enjoyed the well seasoned fajita beef.
