Domani Ristorante Italiano 387 Washington Ave. Hillsdale, NJ 07642 Stuffed Mushrooms Chicken Portifino By this point, I’ve definitely had my share of Italian dining from multiple locations. I’m sorry to reveal this place is not winning the race. Although the appetizer and entrée have a less than stellar appearance, the taste was slightly better…but not by a long shot. For approximately $2 per mushroom, the mushroom was small and the bread crumbs were on the soggy side. The entree looks similar to something inside of a blood orange…between the red/pink brandy sauce and the sun dried tomatoes. To top it all off, static music was playing in the background while I was eating this meal. At least the pasta and portofino tasted better than it looked, but I still won’t have a repeat expe

The biggest rip off i have experienced in a long time. My Wife and I were excited to order from here initially. She ordered Linguini and Clams with White Wine sauce and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. There were 6, yes 6!, Shrimp in a $28.99 dish. The sauce did not have any scent of the white wine or garlic that was advertised. I am in the food business and this dish contained maybe $3.00-$4.00 worth of protein and vegetables. Also there was no bread crumb as advertised. My wife's Linguini had 4 clams and a slight sprinkling of minced, not chopped clams. Once again, maybe $3.00 worth of ingredients for a $22.00 dish. Please don't waste your time going here! This is a disgrace!

My wife and I had dinner there tonight with another couple. She ordered rigatoni with meat sauce and when it came out it had a big hair sticking out of it. She sent it back and it was replaced quickly, although her appetite was gone. I would have thought a manager would have come over and apologized, or given her a free dessert or even made her meal free. But none of that happened and we were very disappointed. Sorry, but no more dinners at Domani’s

Novak and Ray helped coordinate a special birthday celebration for my wife and about 50 friends and family. The entire team was fantastic. The food was great, service was perfect and everyone had a ball. Domani caters to your needs with a smile and a “no problem” attitude. We have been patrons for years and even though we moved away, we always plan a stop for dinner. Thank you Team Domani!

Nice italian place. First time here. We were a party of 7. We came for lunch. They have a lunch special which includes a soup or sad. They serve water and bread 🥖 with butter 🧈 when you are seated. Sue was our host and she was very nice. We ordered: lasagna, chicken parmigiani and pasta.
