DJ's 50'S & 60'S Diner

We waited what felt like an exceptionally long time for some simple fare like omelets. The food was just okay. I ordered the ham omelet, which I believe said it was diced ham, but was actually lunch meat style cut into chunks and the layers weren't separated making it a bit too hammy with not enough cheese. I also found some unwelcome onions in there. I'm being generous with 4 stars, but I don't want to be too harsh on a place I've only visited once and which may have just been on an off day.

My son and I absolutely loved it here! Our waitress was so nice and attentive! I just wish I could remember her name. My son has already made it clear he wants his Birthday dinner there. 😊 He's a huge Elvis fan so he was loving the vibe there!

The food was okay. I was disappointed that the fries were crinkle cut which means they're frozen which shouldn't be the case for the price we paid. The burger was okay but nothing special. My mashed potatoes and hot chicken sandwich was also okay but nothing super special. They had Fox News on both TVs which we felt was inappropriate for a restaurant. The service was great. Our waitress was super nice and respectful which is why the service gets such good marks. Also, the food didn't take terribly long. Overall, the service is what gives this 2 instead of 1 stars.

One of two Starlite diners in WV, this place has fabulous French toast and Belgian waffles. Tucked away near the airport, it's definitely a hidden gem!

Atmosphere- 4 star- 50-60s themed diner with lots of pics and memorabilia on the walls. Music from the era was playing. Place was clean. Service- 3 star- waitress was friendly. Food came fairly fast. Did not get offered any refills. Food- 3 1/5 Stars -came here for breakfast so I can only speak to that. It was ok but nothing to brag about. I paid an up charge to get hash browns instead of home fries which was $1.99 more. Not sure why cause they were kinda boring and a little greasy. Overall food was acceptable but like I said before nothing to brag about. May come back sometime and try their lunch/dinner items. If you’re in the area you could do worse.
