Dixie Deli

This was my first time ging here. I was really surprised how good the food is. The lady working was extremely funny and sweet as could be. If you're looking for a great lunch place or you're passing through Kilmarnock Va, you definitely need to stop by.

I'm still in shock on how the owner of this restaurant treated us today. My mother in law and 6 year old daughter and I were out shopping for the day and thought we would try a deli sandwich. It our first time trying this deli. My mother in law is very particular about the water she drinks and brought in an already opened, half empty bottle of water with her. But no problem, she took the water bottle back out to our car when she was told no drinks were allowed. The Owner would not let it go, was so terribly rude and nasty to us, cussing at us and yelling very loud that she couldn't allow her to bring a bottle of water in. Once we decided to leave she escalated and more profanity. I was more upset she was doing that in front of my daughter who just watched her the whole time she was carryin

Recently got to try this well known local Deli .. I’ve heard of their chicken n shrimp salads and their hot subs. The place was clean and the help attentive. I enjoyed the sandwich n liked the potato salad.. the prices are a bit up there but this area seems fine with it . The locals enjoy it and you will too.. Try it!

I love this spot and have for YEARS! They’ve been in town for longer than I can remember, and have the best hot sub (Italian) that I’ve ever had. It literally sets the bar for all other places. All of the sides are amazing and made in house. Best potato salad I’ve ever had. The coleslaw is amazing and the macaroni salad is great too. She has cold beer in the cooler and the flavorful dirty kettle chips in there! It’s ten times better than any fast food place and the prices are reasonable especially if you pay with cash!
