Dip Dog Stand

Even though it was a little cool, we sat outside. The dip dogs were really good and with mustard! We also had the hot dogs and the chili was good and the hot dogs are red! So are the dip dogs. Reminded me of my grandma making us hot dogs, 3 little pigs brand I think. And the onion rings! 👏Really good

They addressed the ice cream issue and were extremely nice about it. I appreciate the free cone offer but its not necessary. Thank yall for responding and fixing the issue.

On a long drive up to West Virginia, we stopped here for lunch and a moment to stretch our legs. This place was a crowd-pleaser and super fun! It's a little off the beaten path, though you can see the sign from the highway if you squint. There's a decent amount of parking. This place has been around a long time (the 1950s, iirc) and you can see the ways it has grown over the years. The dining room, bathrooms, and gift shop are all sort of separate outbuildings. There's a small patio with a couple of metal chairs and tables, which is where we sat and ate; however, seems like call-in and carryout are popular options. We were traveling to Tennessee through Virginia and wanted a quick bite. We did a search on cheeseburgers and Dip Dog Stand popped up. We decided to find it and give it a go....So so happy we did! My husband got the double cheeseburger with bacon and I got the shrimp dinner. The burger was perfectly cooked and had home grown tomatoes on it. The shrimp were fried to perfection. The crinkle cut French fries were delicious, hot and not greasy at all. I also got a mocha coffee milkshake that was delicious. The staff was super friendly. We sat in the restaurant area after we got our food. The photos in the dining area are awesome! Thanks for a great lunch we will be back!
