Client recommended we go here for lunch and I wasn't disappointed. Everything came out family style so it was fun being able to order a bunch of different things and try it all. We had wontons, shoa mai, broccoli, green beans, hot and sour soup, and a few different soup dumplings. Everything was made to order, came out periodically so we never had too many ch on the table at one time, and everything was the perfect temperature to eat right away. Great flavor, nice presentation even only coming out in the steamer basket. Service was spot on, never needing to ask for refills or to remove empty dishes and the price was perfect for a group lunch, coming in right around $25-$30 per person. It is located in the basement of the pioneer mall, is clean, and the atmosphere was perfect for an e

The location is nice. And this is my review for all locations if the food is the same. Very bland. The cucumbers were covered in stuff but just tasted like normal ( warm) cucumbers. Not the best. We got pork soup dumplings and spicy wontons. It was all so bland and mushy. I’ve had better experience at just a normal Thai or Asian restaurant. Very over hyped. And expensive, I’d rather go to a small local place. And we ordered sprites and it literally tasted like tonic water. No flavor anywhere. Ribs were ok. Wouldn’t go back or waist this much money. Good service.

Went to Pioneer Place to see how the mall is like- busy place and the wait for a to go order took longer than the online order. Portion size of the spicy noodles with Szechuan sauce was not at all spicy and small. But they do make everything made to order and in house with the dumplings and bao so I can appreciate that.

Din Tai Fung has been a family favorite of ours for a long time! This however was our first time at the Pioneer Place location. Our experience did not disappoint! The food came out fresh, hot and fast! The staff were very friendly and attentive! I really enjoyed the Sweet & Sour Short Ribs and the Mango Shaved Snow! Also, the lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays! I couldn’t resist leaving without a set of the adorable new ornaments! We will be back again soon!

First time bans we loved it. Never had a dinner experience like this. We enjoyed it with my best friend and his new bride who just got married. It was interesting to see all the dumplings being hand made as you walk in as well. Only thing I would change; our table was in an area that let non patrons walk through. One of which was begging for spare change. Not sure if this is normal.
