Dickey's Barbecue Pit

The flavor of the food was good. I just didn't like when you order chicken that they slice a chicken breast into thin strips. I'm a grown man and I want a whole piece of chicken, not chicken strips. Also the loaded mashed potatoes with gravy was super thick with no gravy. Other than that it was good. I will definitely try them again.

Very unfriendly staff. I think us walking in the door made them angry. My husband got cheese fries and was given that-with cold Shredded cheese on top and it nowhere close to melting.

The men working were so nice and the food tastes great!

Two guys up front weren't very pleasant or welcoming as I asked questions about the menu...almost as if I was a bother. They guy at the register tore my my Styrofoam container as he disgustedly threw it in the bag practically. Then I had to circle back in because they didn't include utensils or bar bq sauce. Although the food was very good, I won't be back to this particular location.

We were really disappointed with Dicky’s BBQ in Meridian. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality and portion sizes. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The brisket was burnt and all of the meat was dry, lacking any real flavor or freshness. The beans & potatoes were OK but overall, it didn’t live up to our expectations, and we definitely didn’t feel we got our money’s worth.
