DiCarlo's Pizza - Sunset Blvd Steubenville

This is my new favorite pizza. I was visiting family in the area for a couple weeks and found myself coming back here again and again. Great staff, delicious food, amazing price. Thanks!

I live over 2 hours from Steubenville so driving for pizza isn’t really an option. However, being in town for the Nutcracker Village was the perfect opportunity to try this local icon. The crunch when watching a YouTube video and the uniqueness of unmelted cheese had me really curious. For me, this pizza is OUTSTANDING. The crunch, tangy sauce, hot crust and cool cheese make an incredible combination. And the staff are great. So friendly. You have a great thing going at DiCarlos. I’ll be back, someday. 😆

Deserves 6 stars. IMO the best pizza in the world but I originally from the area. Others that didn't grow with this kind of pizza sometimes disagree. You need to eat it right there OR, request the extra cheese in a separate bag so that it stays cold. There is just something special about the hot pizza and cold cheese on top. They only take cash no credit card, but there is an ATM inside the store if you forget.

Living in the Youngstown area, I’m spoiled by many different family-owned and styles of pizza. I’ve heard of this style but never tried it so I came here when I was in the area. It definitely did not disappoint. The only bad thing is there’s no place in my area that serves this style.

DiCarlo's has been a staple in my husband's family for years. During our most recent visit, I finally got to try this unique style of pizza. Color me impressed, the square cut and crispy crust were delicious! At first glance, the unmelted cheese seemed unappetizing but I was proven wrong. A full tray, containing 16 pieces can feed a whole family. For $17 per pie, I would say this is the best cheap eats in the area. Make sure to bring cash as the restaurant is cash only. Although they do provide an ATM machine at their location.
