D.H.Burrell Overlook Mansion

Best B&B ever. Gorgeous Gilded Age details, jaw-dropping valley views, cozy yet luxurious rooms, and incredibly kind hosts who shared great stories. Breakfast in the grand dining room was perfect. Elegant, romantic, and unforgettable.

Such a great place to stay! My wife and I just stayed at the mansion and the couple that own the business are so sweet, and really give it their all to make it an authentic B&B experience, happily making delicious breakfast in the morning, and chatting with their guests. The dinning area, small bar area, cozy feel, and friendliness of the owners truly make this an exceptional and personal experience. The Mansion itself is gorgeous, very well kept. The rooms are all unique, each having its own charm. They are well equipped with the necessary amenities yet still keep the old, authentic feel of the Mansion. The location is perfect, the grounds are well preserved, and the sitting area on the porch is definitely a quiet, relaxing place to sit down. All in all, we could not be more satisfied

Absolutely gorgeous! We arrived here in the middle of a blizzard, which gave it a real haunted house feel. Maggie was there to host us (her husband was visiting family that weekend). She gave us an informative tour and then let us relax for the rest of the day. She even helped us get a cab to get to the rest of Little Falls since we didn't want to drive in the snow storm. The next morning we had some delicious breakfast! I will definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

I absolutely loved this place! I stayed overnight (also in the Overlook room) and was captivated by the old buildings charm. Every room is decorated so wonderfully and it really helps you feel like you almost live in this place when you stay. Bedroom was clean, had a balcony and a cute table and chair set. The furniture looks hand picked to match the feel of each room. The bathroom was huge (water pressure/temperature a bit of an issue, but a quirk of an old mansion I am willing to overlook because of the overall experience). The night we arrived the gentleman who helped us check in was great. We settled into our room and he recommended a great restaurant to eat in. Great place to stay. Very clean. Jim is an awesome host and makes you feel very welcome. We arrived in very heavy rain and he was outside with umbrellas for us. Then took us on a tour and suggested places for us to eat. We stayed in the overlook room which was very clean and has a small sun room with two seats and a small table which was awesome for hanging out at night and relaxing. Overall amazing stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone. Continental Breakfast in the morning.
