Devils Tower View Cafe

Came by on the off chance after hiking around Bear’s Lodge (Devil’s Tower). It was so cold we needed something hot. Husband and daughter had classic burger while I had fluffy buffalo - when in Rome! - burger. Thoroughly enjoyed our food. Had one cheesecake. Now, I always am wary of cheesecake as the ones in Cheesecake factory leaves me with stomach issues, it’s always too sweet which is the problem. So here I ordered just the one to share with my husband to lessen the risk of upset stomach. I highly recommend the cheesecake here, it’s far superior than the ones in cheesecake factory. It’s not sweet, just right, thick and creamy. Excellent service and a wonderful shop next to the cafe which we ended up buying some things to remember our time in Wyoming. I stopped at Devil's Tower Cafe on Sunday at 10:40 AM, and it exceeded my expectations. The place had many cool items as decorations, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. The theme of decorations was very Western, with lots of paintings for sale. The tables had everything you need, condiments and paper towels, and the server was friendly and had personality. I ordered fish and chips, and they were excellent. The fish was fresh and fried to The fries were perfection, as well. The server suggested a local beer, which was excellent. For dessert, I had huckleberry ice cream with huckleberry sauce—a perfect meal after an ideal hike at Devil's Tower. I recommend Devils Tower View Cafe.

This cafe was great as we had not planned ahead well to see all of the breakfast options in Sundance were closed on Mondays (off season at least). I did call ahead to make sure they would be open. Great view of Devils Tower and you’ll find half gift shop/half cafe. Although not a lot of options we found plenty that we would enjoy. I got the breakfast tacos with sausage and my husband enjoyed his Classic American. The tacos were great and more food than I could eat as it came with tater tots. Although they were out of juice I had a great cup of tea and loved the tea cup it was served in.

Great family owned Cafe! Food and service was Awesome! Biker and trucker friendly. Rv sites with a great view of Devil Tower across the street. Definitely a nice place to eat and take a break from the road!

This was such a delightful find! Everyone should make this a part of their trip to Devils Tower. Great food, friendly staff, and magnificent views.
