Der Biergarten

I’m a huge Biergarten fan that’s traveled to Bavaria and enjoyed the og experience so I’m a bit picky about American versions but Der Biergarten was a hit! The beer was excellent, the server was friendly and helpful, and the food was authentic enough to pass snuff. We ordered schnitzel and mashed potatoes with the gravy and the three wurst platter. All was tasty and leftovers reheated well the next day. If you’re American and visiting please give communal sitting a try! That is always frustrating to see…multiple people turned down sitting with us because they wanted their “own table.” Communal seating is an awesome experience. There was a bit of a smell in the restaurant so I docked on atmosphere but otherwise I was a happy visitor.

Jashin was amazing. Best bar experience in Atlanta in a long time. We will definitely be back just because of the atmosphere and the quality of service. We were welcomed by every staff member throughout our visit. ATL UTD!

Hidden gem in downtown Atlanta. Surrounded by chain restaurants and hotel bars, Der Biergarten is one of a kind. The German craft beer list alone would be enough to make it worth a stop. The authentic German food menu is excellent - only a native German could find much to complain about. The jagerschnitzel with a side of red cabbage is a highlight. The staff is exceedingly welcoming and provided excellent service. Thanks for a fantastic experience! 🙏

Food and service were great. I got the 3 wurst plate with potato salad and sauerkraut and added a side of fries. Everything was perfect. Definitely a good amount of food.

On point! Tried the pretzel and different mustard - incredible. Tried the reuben rolls which melted in my mouth. Finished off with the goulash which was amazing. Accompanied with 3 different beers that were all incredible. Highly recommend if you're in town!
