Deputy Dawgz & Smash Burgers

All the food was freshly made and delivered quickly. Almost zero wait time when we went. The burger was absolutely amazing and the fries were very crisp. We had a second order of loaded fries with the extra patty option. Great flavors and the fries kept their crunch. More people should really hit this place up. Currently it’s just a food truck outside their building as they are waiting for renovations to finish.

A little disappointed but was excited to try a local food joint. I I will say the people were super nice. We got the New Mexico loaded Fries which were pretty good but lacked toppings, they looked better before I stirred them up but I was trying to find the beans …there were very few and the toppings were only on the top layer leaving a bunch of plain fries … for the price I would’ve liked to see a lot more toppings, especially beans. I got the #8 smash burger/the hangover…so excited to try something new but sad to see 2 little pieces of bacon, my grilled onions were burnt to thin black slivers and I wish there had been maple syrup on it as advertised I craved the sweet and savory so waited to finish until I got home and put some maple syrup on and will say the combo is great but their des

Visited this establishment today and was very impressed with the quality we got from such a small food truck. First of customer service was excellent, the girl working took her time to explain all menu items and made sure we were getting what we wanted. French fries were very nice and crispy out the outside but smooth on the inside. The burger itself was great, very nicely seasoned and taste was very good. The only two critique I have is that the burger and fries barely had any sauce even though we ordered animal style fries and same for the burger. Second thing is that there are no tables and chairs for customers to sit down and wait which I think would be a great addition down the road. Juicy beef frank with so many explosions of flavor coming through especially with the tajin and hot Cheetos. It’s such a treat! Fries were perfectly seasoned!

Unique flavor and style of cooking... In my opinion it is a collaboration of northern and southern California comfort food... A play on Mexican inspired cuisine and food truck favorites... I give them a ten out of ten on flavor and presentation... I also look forward to trying the rest of their menu items...
